Our response to Black Lives Matter
Age UK supports the Black Lives Matter movement.
We applaud the courage and determination of Black people and others worldwide who are advocating peacefully for an end to racism and injustice in all its forms.
We welcome the vital and long overdue conversation the Black Lives Matter movement has started, and are resolved to listen, learn and act together in our organisation to do better.
This will not just be a moment in time, but will help us make lasting change both as a place to work and in our representation of and support for older Black people and other ethnic minorities.
