Our response to #NoSpaceForJewHate
Age UK supports the aims of #NoSpaceForJewHate.
There is no space for abuse and prejudice in any form and peaceful action to highlight and eradicate it should be applauded.
As a charity, our decisions have to be driven by our charitable aims, ultimately what will have the greatest impact for those older people most in need. Therefore, we are not taking part in the current 48-hour boycott as an organisation. However, many of our employees are, and we fully support them in that.
We will continue to hold those in authority to account to push through changes that will lead to better equality for older people in all its forms and we will continue to listen and learn as an organisation.
