Age and Ageing research survey

NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) West Midlands is asking if you could spare a few minutes to complete a survey regarding your knowledge of and involvement with research within the Age and Ageing specialty.

Within the survey, there are questions regarding if you would like to join the CRN Age and Ageing Specialty group, your interest in research, "Join Dementia Research" and an invitation to an upcoming Age and Ageing CPD accredited event in October.

Creative Adventures in Dementia

The Dukes Theatre, in collaboration with Age UK Lancashire, is celebrating three years of its pioneering work for people with dementia by staging a major two-day festival from May 17-18, open to people living with dementia, family, friends, health and care professionals, artists, researchers and clinical commissioning teams.

Creative Adventures in Dementia will show how the Lancaster theatre's A Life More Ordinary project has touched the lives of people living with dementia, their friends and families, and will provide opportunities to share and discover some of the groundbreaking ways that the arts help in the better understanding of dementia.

Loneliness in Older People and its Impact on Health

The British Geriatrics Society is launching its inaugural meeting on Loneliness in Older People and its Impact on Health. Abstracts are encouraged for either platform or poster presentations. The deadline to submit an abstract is 1 May, 2018
