More money in your pocket

Every year, it's estimated that more than £200m worth of Pension Credit and other state benefits goes unclaimed by older people in Wales. We can help make sure you're not missing out.

Last year the Age Cymru partnership supported older people to claim more than £7.5m in benefits and entitlements.

Are you claiming everything you're entitled to? Let’s start a conversation together.

Attendance Allowance

If you have a disability or illness that means you might need extra help at home you might be able to get Attendance Allowance. This benefit is for people over the state pension age.

Carer's Allowance

Carer's Allowance is the main welfare benefit to help carers. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a carer, it's worth checking if Carer’s Allowance could help you.

Housing Benefit

If you’re on a low income and struggling to cover your rent, you could claim Housing Benefit.

Pension Credit

Pension Credit can give you some extra money in retirement. If you’re struggling to make ends meet, claiming Pension Credit could help.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

If you need help with daily activities or getting around because of a long-term illness or disability, you may be eligible for PIP. This benefit is for people under the state pension age.
